The breathtaking scenery at Cuckmere Haven, with the Seven Sisters and Coastguard Cottages, has been used many times as a backdrop for TV adverts and major motion pictures seen by millions.
Guy Fawkes landed here so did Robin Hood. Dickens lived here and Queen Victoria walked the beach. Cheryl Cole sang here and Harry Potter, Foyle's War, Green Wing, Luther and Atonement were all filmed at Cuckmere Haven.
Summerland
Summerland is the film debut of Olivier Award-winning British playwright Jessica Swale, set at Cuckmere Haven Coastguard Cottages and starring Gemma Arterton, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Penelope Wilton and Tom Courtenay. It is set in World War 2, and is about a reclusive writer and an evacuee placed in her care.
Due for UK release on 24th July 2020.

Fashion Shoots
A German fashion company which sells itself on the British look calling itself The British Shop shot pictures for their new brochure today.
"We chose this location because it is breathtaking. For other people from other countries these are the white cliffs and this is the view which makes us think of Great Britain .
These cottages in this location are spectacular, we all want to live here, please look after them!"
